Printing & Framing
The artwork is individually produced by John in a custom state-of-the-art digital studio in a renovated barn-building on Johns Island, SC. Meticulous attention to detail in every step of the process, particularly with regards to color, is the hallmark of John's artwork. After the artwork is printed on canvas, each piece is then treated with multiples coats of a UV protectant, stretched to custom designed and locally milled stretcher bars, and the framed in either black, white or natural wenge wood.
The full process takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to complete, depending on the current workload and exhibition schedule. All photographs on canvas are available in Editions of 5, in two standard sizes - once five are sold, regardless of size, the edition is closed.
Each piece come with either a black or wenge wood frame - they are a simple canvas floater profile. Custom designed frames are created locally on John's Island, SC.
