S. Cora Aldo

S. Cora Aldo was born in 1956 and graduated from Southern Connecticut University in New Haven, Connecticut After graduation she traveled extensively throughout the United Stated and to parts of South America. In 2007 she received a Masters in Art from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. "In my work, I am driven by a sense of discovery that develops as I engage in the ongoing investigation of the material. In my paintings I am interested in exploring a mood invoking feelings and memories from my past. The scenes can become powerful yet lonely at the same time. I like how these memories and the forces of nature play against one another." Her paintings are in private collections throughout the world.
